What services does Clear Mind Health Services provide?
We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, anxiety and depression care, ADHD evaluation and treatment, and mood and bipolar disorder care. Treatment is personalized after an appropriate evaluation; not every service or medication is suitable for every person.
Who can receive care?
Aloys Chiafie Tenkiang, PMHNP-BC, works with children, teens, adults, and older adults. When care involves a child or teenager, parent or caregiver participation is handled in an age-appropriate way while respecting privacy and safety.
How do I request an appointment?
Use the appointment request form on this website or call +1 302-205-0445. Choose the service, preferred format, date, and time. A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment; the Clear Mind team will contact you to verify availability.
What should I expect at a first psychiatric appointment?
Your first visit is a conversation about what has been happening and how it affects daily life. Aloys may review symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current medications and supplements, sleep, mood, attention, stressors, substance use, strengths, goals, and safety. You will have time to ask questions and discuss possible next steps.
Are appointments available virtually and in person?
Yes. You may request a virtual or in-person appointment. In-person visits are held at 906 Mather Dr, Bear, DE 19701. Availability and whether telehealth is appropriate can depend on your location, clinical needs, and applicable rules, so the office will confirm the format with you.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, insurance information if applicable, a current medication and supplement list, relevant medical or mental health records, and contact information for other clinicians involved in your care. For a child or teen, bring any helpful school or prior evaluation records.
How do prescription refills and medication questions work?
Contact the office before you run out of medication and allow enough time for review. Some medications require an appointment, monitoring, or additional information before a refill can be authorized. Do not stop or change a psychiatric medication without discussing it with a qualified clinician unless urgent medical guidance tells you otherwise.
What should I do during a mental health emergency?
This website and its forms are not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not use the appointment form for urgent or crisis care.
